“ 6 of us dropped in here on a whim and the lovely staff managed to squeeze us in. 4 of us had the Pork, 1 had Beef and the 6th had a Mediterranean Vegetable Pie, all of us really enjoyed our meals which were plentiful and tasty. Staff were cheerful and attentive and the ambience was great also, all in all a fantastic meal and well worth a visit. ”
“ Stopped for lunch. Specials were cod and salmon fishcake with wholegrain mustard sauce and pickled cucumber, and a chorizo scotch egg. At around 6 quid a plate, we'll worth it. Both items cooked to order, the chef knows his stuff; fishcake light and fluffy run through with spinach, scotch egg perfectly cooked. From the drinks menu, and chilled Jeager dispenser on the bar - looks like it gets lively nighttime. Polite, friendly staff, clean toilets, sunny front garden. Worth a visit ”
